Alexander Schauer is returning to Australia where he will be working on his research for the next few months. His enthusiasm, contribution to group discussions and work on creating and maintaining this blog, as well as leading the revamping of the KIM site has been much appreciated by all. So from all of us, a fond wie sehen uns bald, Alex!

KIM initiated lunch 22 Nov 12
Ana Vasconcelos kindly organised the first KIM lunch Thursday 22 November 2012 at the Noodle Bar in Sheffield. Both KIM staff and students as well as two research staff joined the table. The informal setting sparked discussions on food, cultural nuances and festivities in countries such as Austria, Germany, Portugal, Syria and the UK. Below a picture of the setting:

LimeSurvey seminar Thursday 8 Nov 11-13h, iSchool
Alexander Schauer is offering a two hour
seminar on the theoretical and practical aspects of LimeSurvey. This will involve setting up a personal
test survey and collecting and exporting the responses.
