Students' Spring Symposium in Thessaloniki

Since 2002, The University of Sheffield International Faculty has organised the Students' Spring Symposium where students from TUoS International Faculty celebrate student co-operation, provocative thinking and interaction. This event is centred on student projects, research and ideas in the following areas:-

* Web technologies

* Software Development

* Information Security

* Open Source

* Network Technology and engineering

* E-Learning

* Human Resource Information Systems

* IT, Change Management and e-Business

* Understanding Organisational Behaviour and HR

* Developing Strategic thinking in SMEs

* Managing knowledge and innovation in Organisations

* Understanding Corporate Finance

* Holistic Marketing

* Health/ Clinical psychology

* Cognitive neuroscience

* Developmental psychology

* Social/work psychology

This year, University of Sheffield Enterprise (USE) is offering two University of Sheffield students the opportunity to go the Spring Symposium, between the 18th and 19th May, with return flights to Thessaloniki, accommodation and meals included.

To apply for a place on the Symposium, you will be required to submit an extended abstract (1-2 pages) about your research or project to the secretariat of the symposium (s3-12@city.academic.gr) for review. The two students whose papers are accepted by TUoS International Faculty will get the places. Theoretical and empirical papers will be equally valued. The deadline for paper submission is the 26th April 2012.
